Patrick Swayze - She's Like The Wind

Patrick Swayze was on top of the world back in 1987. His movie Dirty Dancing was a huge surprise hit as it was originally scheduled to be released in theaters for only one weekend and then go straight to video, but as we know, it ended up making Patrick and Jennifer Grey famous.

What's interesting about this song is the fact that he recorded it for the Dirty Dancing soundtrack before the movie became a hit. Normally, actors jump into the musical arena after they've had success on the big screen in order to capitalize on their success, i.e. Bruce Willis, Don Johnson, etc. The song went to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts, and was a hit around the world.
