t.A.T.u. - All The Things She Said

Russia's t.A.T.u. released their first debut English album 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane in 2002. The first single from the album All The Things She Said is their only single to chart within the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 10 charts. It peaked at #20 on the Hot 100 charts, and it was a top five Dance Club Play hit. Enjoy!

P.S. Although t.A.T.u have portrayed themselves in videos and in live concerts as lesbians, they confirmed in the 2003 documentary, Anatomy of t.A.T.u, that this was just part of the group's image, and they were not lesbians.

Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone

Better Off Alone was a huge dance club hit back in 1999, and it was Alice Deejay's only Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hit. It peaked at #27 on the Hot 100 charts, but went to #3 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts. Enjoy!

Donna Lewis - I Love You Always Forever

Donna Lewis' I Love You Always Forever was one of the most played songs of the 90's. It spent nine weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts back in the summer of 1996. It was kept out of the #1 slot by Los Del Rio's Macarena, which is probably the most famous one-hit wonder of all-time. This was Lewis' only top 40 hit on the Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!

Minnie Riperton Performing Lovin' You Live on The Midnight Special

Lovin' You is one of those songs that I've heard for years, but had absolutely no idea who sang it until now. It was actually a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1975 for Minnie Riperton, and it was her only hit single of her career. Enjoy!

Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song

While Aly & AJ are still very young in their career, having released their first album in 2005, they've only had one major hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Potential Breakup Song was a top 20 hit for them on that chart last year when it peaked at #17. It also peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart. Hopefully, they'll break-through and be known for more than one song, but for now, we'll call them a one-hit wonder. Enjoy!

4 Non Blondes - What's Up

4 Non Blondes had a very short career. During the early 90's, they released two albums, but their only big hit was 1993's What's Up. It peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the U.S., but was a #1 hit in Germany and a #2 hit in the U.K. and Australia.

Despite the name of the song being What's Up, the song doesn't contain the phrase What's Up, but rather What's Goin' On. They didn't name it What's Goin' On because of Marvin Gaye's hit single, What's Going On. Enjoy!

Joan Osbourne - One Of Us

Joan Osbourne's One of Us was a top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts back in 1996 peaking at #4. The song deals with various aspects of belief in God by asking questions inviting the listener to consider how they might relate to God, such as "Would you call [God's name] to his face?" or "Would you want to see [God's face] if seeing meant that you would have to believe?" The title of the song comes from the refrain, "What if God was one of us? Enjoy!

Lipps, Inc. - Funkytown

Funkytown was Lipps, Inc.'s biggest hit. It spent four weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts back in 1979. It's considered by many true disco fans to be the last disco song to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!

Weather Girls - It's Raining Men

The Weather Girls had a number of dance hits in the early 80's, but they're considered a one-hit wonder because of their one and only Billboard Hot 100 charting single from 1982 called It's Raining Men. Enjoy!

Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U

It's hard to believe that Sinead O'Connor only has one top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts during her entire career so far. That one hit was a big one though. It's her #1 song from 1990 called Nothing Compares 2 U. It was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, Billboard Modern Rock charts, UK Singles chart, Australia Singles chart and the Irish Singles chart. Now that's what I call a big hit!

The Waitresses - I Know What Boys Like

The Waitresses were a new wave band in the early 80's. They only had one hit single. It was called I Know What Boys Like, and it only made it to #23 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts, but it's been included on numerous 80's compilation albums making it a cult favorite of 80's music lovers. Jeannie C. Riley - Harper Valley PTA

Jeannie C. Riley isn't a country music one-hit wonder, but she is considered a one-hit wonder in the world of pop music. Back in 1968, she released her first album called Harper Valley PTA, and the first single, Harper Valley PTA skyrocketed to #1 on both the country and pop charts. It would be her only top 50 single on the pop charts of her career. But, oh what a big one it was... Enjoy!

Stacey Q - Two Of Hearts

Stacey Q is considered a one-hit wonder for her 1986 song Two of Hearts, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and #4 on the Billboard Hot Dance charts. She's actually had two #1 hits on the Hot Dance charts: We Connect and Insecurity, but she's considered a one-hit wonder because neither of those songs cracked the top 20 on the Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!
